I photographed Katie and Jake’s awesome Lawrence, Kansas wedding last summer and was so excited when I heard they’re expanding their family! It was a lot fun being able to photograph another stage of their life together.

Sue and I have been trying to schedule a time to take some photos of her kids for…well, I think it’s been over a year! Thankfully, we were finally able to coordinate schedules and beat the incessant thunderstorms for a shoot last week. Here are a few favorites!

Erin and Nathan planned a very personal, meaningful outdoor wedding on Erin’s family farm near Salina. The details were beautiful, the setting serene. And then June in Kansas happened. It stormed so hard during the reception we thought the tent was going to fall over! Though the weather teased us all day long, their wedding was just gorgeous and a lot of fun.
