There’s nothing more exciting for me than when some of my coolest wedding clients refer me to some of their coolest friends. With beautiful Lawrence, Kansas as a backdrop, Cassy and Dylan were a blast to photograph! We got together for a bit to shoot some portraits in their wedding attire.

I. LOVE. This bouquet. Love it!!! The peonies are just the PERFECT shade of pink. Gorgeous.

I’ve been looking forward to photographing Alison and Kirk’s wedding since shooting their fun engagement session out in the country near Valley Center. Alison and Kirk are loving and down to earth, so of course their wedding was a beautiful reflection of just that.

Susan’s did the flowers, and they were really beautiful!! Bright, bold, and perfect for a spring wedding.

Alison made customized flip-flops with her wedding colors. Creative!

Boulevard Banquet Hall was the perfect venue for their reception. They had a ton of guests, but there was plenty of space for dancing and fun.

Speaking of dancing, Paul with Complete Music kept everyone on their feet!

Just got back from shooting a fun wedding today, made even more fun by: 1. Andrea from Andrea Dawn Photography spending the day with me, and 2. Photo booth pictures at the reception!
Andrea and I decided that we are MUCH better behind the camera and should probably stay there from here on out. And don’t mess with me when I’ve got a camera in my hands. Apparently (as you can see in the first photo), I’ll give you the stink-eye.
