If you’ve ever read my blog before, you know how much I love Lawrence. So I’ll try to refrain from gushing. One really cool thing about Lawrence is its architectural character. Some of my favorite areas to shoot are around the coolest old buildings. When I was in Lawrence shooting Cassy and Dylan’s portraits, I discovered that someone has recently added a little extra character to some of the buildings I like to shoot around…

I couldn’t have picked a more perfect couple for my first sunny photo session in a over a month. That’s right; my camera was quite tired of all those dark, cloudy May days and was ready for the gorgeous sunlight!

Rachel and Shawn are friendly, genuinely in-love, and so fun to be around. Plus, they love LOST as much as I do! They even went to a finale watch party where everyone dressed up like LOST characters. Yup; they are my new best friends.

There’s nothing more exciting for me than when some of my coolest wedding clients refer me to some of their coolest friends. With beautiful Lawrence, Kansas as a backdrop, Cassy and Dylan were a blast to photograph! We got together for a bit to shoot some portraits in their wedding attire.

I. LOVE. This bouquet. Love it!!! The peonies are just the PERFECT shade of pink. Gorgeous.
